In addition to a high performance safety toe cap and pierce resistant midsole, Mako also provides excellent grip performance and is extremely lightweight.
Part of our latest range combining sportswear with safety and protection, Mako has a special PU/TPU sole unit made of three different compounds and an In-Gel System which absorbs 50% more impact shocks as a result of being placed between the insole and the outer sole.
Advanced protection is provided through the ALU LITE® 200 Joule aluminium toecap which is non-thermal, non-magnetic and anti-corrosive. Even though it gives the same protection as steel, it is 51% lighter.
The Flex System® pierce resistant midsole is made of composite material special ceramics making it extremely flexible and protecting 100% of the sole of the foot. It is also lighter than traditional steel midoles.
